We had just arrived home from our quick little jaunt to Geneva, IL just outside of Chicago. I had gone up to my office and was getting ready for my online Moodle class and I heard what sounded like thunder moving up. Strange… sun is out. The wind started picking up and before I knew it… this was what I saw outside my window. I saw a young boy riding up the middle of the street in this no visibility situation with the wind giving him quite a boost from behind. He was darn lucky no cars were coming from the other direction because they would have never seen him coming around the corner in those conditions. In 10 minutes, this was gone. I still hear the thunder and their are clouds overhead, but no wind. Was it a squall?
squall
–noun
1. a sudden, violent gust of wind, often accompanied by rain, snow, or sleet.
2. a sudden disturbance or commotion.
–verb (used without object)
3. to blow as a squall.

I think so. I will blog about my trip a little later after I finish my Moodle class.
